Taifa Mziki in Ohio and Indiana, Feb.-March 2014

Tunaweza Kimuziki was thrilled to help coordinate a visit by a cappella group Taifa Mziki in several communities in Ohio and Indiana in February and March! Here are some samples from the numerous workshops, performances, lectures, and exchanges the Taifa Mziki members and faculty sponsor Dr. Wilson Shitandi had with students and community members in Wooster (College of Wooster), Canton (Malone Univ.), Cincinnati (American Choral Directors Association convention), and Bloomington (Indiana Univ.).  Thanks to everyone who helped make their visit a roaring success!

Taifa Mziki made great connections with their host families and new student friends, too–even teaching people to make ugali!
